Membership Chair: Howard Raff - Corporate Membership Chair: Shel Capeloto
Membership in the Rotary Club of Pasadena is open to professionals, business owners, nonprofit executives and retirees representing a variety of vocational classifications in the greater Pasadena area. To learn more about becoming a member, contact our membership chair Howard Raff by Email or phone 626-712-4920. Rotary is the largest international service organization, working to eradicate polio worldwide, building wells in rural communities across the globe and funding schools for girls around the world. Locally, Pasadena Rotary gives time, talent and treasure through a variety of programs and volunteer activities to the PUSD and to local charities. Rotarians focus on "service above self."
The membership process starts with attending a regularly scheduled Wednesday luncheon meeting at noon at the University Club of Pasadena (located at 175 N. Oakland, Pasadena, CA 91101). This weekly meeting allows Rotarians to conduct business, to be educated through a series of speakers on topical subjects, and to get to know one another through fellowship. A membership committee member greets prospective members at the check-in area, and discusses the process, the requirements and commitment of all Rotarians, and facilitates the process of integration into the club.
